Today you will have a delicious breakfast with typical food. The route will start through the most interesting points of interest in Cairo.

The Pyramids of Giza are the first place we will visit with our official English-speaking guide. You will be amazed by the grandeur of the Giza Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Pyramid of Cheops. This is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still exists. You can view it from the main entrance plaza and from a closer vantage point.

Optionally, you can add an excursion to the Saqqara Tomb. Within this world heritage site, the funerary complex of King Djoser stands out. It is a building built to honor the king in the afterlife. Djoser's pyramid is the first stone structure built in the form of a pyramid. It symbolizes the beginning of this type of construction in Egypt.

At night, you can rent a light show on the pyramids of Giza. You can also enjoy a unique dinner show in a floating restaurant on the Nile. Ask your travel assistant for more information.

You will meet your guide at the beginning of your day tour in Cairo. You will visit the Egyptian Museum where you can explore a large collection of artifacts such as King Tutankhamun's treasures and jewelry. Our guide will accompany you for two hours in the museum to explain all the information and details of the ancient Egyptian artifacts.
You will see Tutankhamun's treasures, which is the only remaining collection of royal treasures from the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. This collection includes a large collection of gold and silver jewelry that was buried under the sand for more than three thousand years until the tomb was discovered and transferred to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

We then move on to the Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi Fortress to see the Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, one of the most famous tourist attractions in Islamic Cairo. This mosque is a great example of Ottoman architecture in Cairo. Built during the Islamic period, the Citadel is a medieval fortress that served as the seat of the Egyptian government from the time of Saladin until the reign of King Farouk in the early 20th century.

At lunchtime, you can choose from a variety of Egyptian delicacies. On our tour of Coptic Cairo, you will visit some of Egypt's oldest and most famous churches. You will explore the historic Roman Babylonian citadel and marvel at the Hanging Church, a landmark in Cairo.

After a delicious and timely breakfast, one of our vehicles will escort you to Cairo International Airport to check in your luggage and, if necessary, process your tax refund for the tax-free products you purchased.

After arriving in what was once called Byzantium and later Constantinople, an English-speaking person will be waiting for you at checkout to assist you with all the details of your itinerary, clarify any doubts you may have, and give you a brief overview of the city and its daily life.

You will be transferred to your hotel by one of our vehicles. At the hotel, your assistant will help you check in. The rest of the day will be at leisure and if you wish to enjoy Istanbul.

After refueling with breakfast, we will stop by your hotel or the nearest meeting place to start the journey. Your full-day adventure to explore Istanbul begins.

Alternatively, if you want to venture outside of Athens, you have the option of spending a day (or even several days) exploring the Peloponnese Peninsula or visiting Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After breakfast on board at Marina Zeas Port and around 9:00, one of our vehicles will transfer you to Athens International Airport.
